From Holland with Love, day 18: fortified

Heusden is one of the five fortified towns in Holland. Built around 1300 it served the residents to be protected against invaders coming from the Maas River. The town is still in its original condition. Ron and Tak guide us around. It was so good to see them again, long term friends from well over thirty years.
